Honestly, as a lifelong fan of TMNT, I was skeptic of the new series. I LOVE the original series. 2003 was OK but really never got me hooked. So the verdict for the new series……AWESOME!…. Seriously I know a lot of people won’t give it a chance. A lot of complaints I hear is the animation, or that it’s just not the same. It isn’t. But that’s not a bad thing! You have to be open-minded. I didn’t expect it to be like the original series, but I love all the nods they give to it however. From Mikey’s tattoo of his “face” over his face, to the ringtone of the t-phone. Rob Paulsen is doing a great job with Donatello and all the voice actors for that matter. Shredder has that deep voice similar to the original, and today’s episode “The Gauntlet” was amazing. I saw it with my best friend and we literally got chills during the battle with Shredder. I can’t say enough about how good it was. Thank you to TMNT 2012!!!
